The Aine Art Museum is proud to inaugurate an exhibition that assembles works from the donated collection of Professor of Contemporary Art and Curator Maaretta Jaukkuri. The show is curated by the donor herself.

In 2022, Maaretta Jaukkuri donated her collection of over one hundred artworks to the Aine Art Museum. The collection reflects Jaukkuri’s collaboration with Finnish and international artists over more than four decades. One of the hallmarks of the collection is Nordicness, which also tells about Jaukkuri’s own spheres of interests.

The exhibition shows works by the following artists: Berlinde de Bruyckere, Anne-Karin Furunes, Hulda Hákon, Outi Heiskanen, Svein Johansen, Ilya Kabakov, Leena Luostarinen, Paul Osipow, Ulla Rantanen, Torsten Renqvist and Kain Tapper among others.
