On Thursday, April 30, we celebrate Walpurgis Night, and according to tradition a bonfire will be lit at Strandplan in Haparanda.

The Church of Sweden will serve coffee and Lions Club Haparanda sausages and drinks.

The Walpurgis Night celebration at Strandplan is a joint event organised by
Lions Club, Haparandabladet, the Municipality of Haparanda, and the Church of Sweden.
