The Aine Art Museum will bring, from 12.–16.5. 2026, Torne Valley-based textile artist Ida Isak Westerberg and an open raanu-themed workshop to the Rajalla På Gränsen Shopping Centre.

Westerberg will weave a raanu on a vertical loom in the space during the daytime and host open raanu weaving workshops for everyone throughout the week. The artist will be present to guide participants on Wednesday, 13.5. from 15–17 (Finnish time) and Friday, 15.5. from 15-17 (Finnish time). Free admission, no pre-registration required. No prior weaving experience is needed.

An artist talk with Ida Isak Westerberg and live weaving will take place on Saturday, 16.5. from 13:00–15:00 (time in Finland). Free admission, with coffee served. Westerberg’s works will be on display in the space, and visitors can come and observe the artist working Tue–Wed and Fri from 13-17 (time in Finland)
