The Declaration of Chrismas peace is a tradition which launches the Christmas celebrations in Tornio. The tradition dates back to the 17th century and Christmas peace will be declared in front of the old Town Hall ”Raatihuone” for the fourth hundredth and first time. Tornio Male Choir accompanied by  Tornio Wind Orchestra will perform in this atmospheric event.
