A dance experience for babies aged 2-18 months.

Welcome to O, a dance experience for babies aged 2-18 months and their adults. Using all their senses, babies can explore and become part of an exciting universe of mirrored floors,  materials and curious creatures. They can move freely and take part in the work, entirely on their own terms. In a close interaction between the visitors and the two dancers, the focus shifts to the child’s own exploration; the adults have the opportunity to join the journey of discovery.

The space is open throughout the performance and there is no clear beginning and end. The audience can enter and leave the welcoming environment according to their own desires and needs, all to create as calm and safe an atmosphere as possible. Maximum number of babies in the room at the same time: 15.

Peter Mills, who made a success at Riksteatern in 2020 with The Cosmic Sea Garden Passage, has now further developed his performance concept and once again welcomes babies into a magical world.

“The way children explore the world is fascinating and educational. Their joy of discovery is truly spectacular,” says Mills.
