Conductor: Anna-Maria Helsing
Soloist: Emil Jonason, clarinet
To see and hear clarinetist Emil Jonason is an experience out of the ordinary. In both the European and American press, he has been described as ”the Yngwie Malmsteen of the clarinet”, that he ”has the aura of a rock star”, and ”raises the bar for what you can expect from a clarinet”.

Experience him together with the Norrbotten Chamber Orchestra and the acclaimed Finnish-Swedish conductor Anna-Maria Helsing. Here he gets the opportunity to shine in Emmy Lindström’s renowned clarinet concerto At the Hills of Hampstead Heath – one of London’s largest parks and green spaces. In the company of the clarinet and the orchestra, we set off on an imaginative musical journey of discovery. We encounter both jazzy elements, klezmer and wonderfully beautiful melodies.
